Beth Eden Emphases

Academic Excellence

Academic achievement is a hallmark feature of Beth Eden's educational quality. An emphasis on traditional educational principles distinguishes Beth Eden Baptist School from other institutions. The results are seen in national testing averages which place Beth Eden students well ahead of their peers in every academic subject. Beth Eden Baptist School has seen a large number of its graduates attend respected schools in specialized fields including engineering, arts, and ministry. Beth Eden's academic committee meets regularly to evaluate the school's academic performance in order to assure both parents and students of a high quality education.

Character Development

Character formation is a core emphasis of Beth Eden Baptist School. In our program both general and specific character traits are taught to the students. In elementary school character traits like respect, dependability, honesty, courage, and meekness are introduced at various intervals to the students. In middle school the character focus narrows to self-government with the intention of helping the young adolescent master organizational skills, good study habits, and responsibility. Beth Eden's high school character focus is centered on Christ-honoring decision making. BEBS's character program involves student participation through Bible memory, discipline, and service, as well as staff interaction through mentoring and modeling Christ-likeness.

The Fine Arts

At Beth Eden, education extends beyond academics. Beth Eden's fine arts program is a distinction of the school. Students find opportunities to develop their God-given skills in a way that honors Him. The product is a well-rounded, cultured student who seeks to please God with gifts He has given. Beth Eden's fine arts program is a fully integrated program offering traditional art classes, drama productions, and an advanced music program.

About Us

Beth Eden Baptist School offers a K4-12th grade traditional school program.  Our classroom sizes do not exceed 24 students and many are smaller which allows for a teacher/student of ratio 1:16.

BEBS students benefit from a challenging academic curriculum, competitive sports department, accomplished music program, and caring, professional, Christian teachers.

Beth Eden Baptist School has a long history of academic excellence and spiritual development.  It was founded in 1971 and has enjoyed a history of God's blessing.  BEBS is a ministry of Beth Eden Baptist Church and is blessed by generous support from the church.

The school provides educational excellence in a caring, Christian atmosphere for students in grades K4-12.  BEBS is big enough to offer a full range of academic classes and many extra curricular activities, and it is small enough to provide individual attention and a teacher/student ratio of 1:16.

BEBS is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and the Colorado Association of Christian Schools (CACS).  These affiliations offer our students and staff many opportunities for enrichment.

The spiritual growth of each student is of great importance at BEBS.  We also highly value academic growth.  Annual testing shows that our students consistently score much higher than the national average.

Why Choose Beth Eden Baptist School?

Our Doctrine

Beth Eden Baptist School is the ministry of Beth Eden Baptist Church and thus maintains the same doctrinal position as set forth in the constitution of Beth Eden Baptist Church.

  • The Holy Bible was written inerrant in its original languages by men divinely inspired. The Bible is the supreme standard for all human conduct.
  • There is one loving and true God, an infinite, perfect Spirit and personal Being in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • The salvation of sinners is completed by grace through the mediatorial work of Jesus Christ, who by His death made a full atonement (covering) for sin.
  • In order to be saved, sinners must be regenerated or born again.
  • Sanctification is a process of growth by which we are made partakers of His holiness. It is carried on in the hearts of believers throughout their earthly life, by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. The speaking of "tongues" today is not a manifestation of the Holy Spirit's New Testament work.
  • All true believers endure unto the end, kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation. Both Christian ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, are each a memorial, a symbol, and a prophecy.
  • The six days of creation in Genesis, chapter one, were solar days of twenty-four hours each. The first day of the week is the Lord’s Day and is a Christian institution that is to be honored by worship and Bible study in a local church.
  • Jesus rose from the dead bodily. He now exists in His glorified body at God’s right hand.
  • The end of the age is approaching. The wicked will be judged to endless punishment (Hell), and the righteous to endless joy (Heaven). We believe in the pretribulational rapture and personal, visible, premillennial return of Christ with the restoration of Israel to her Kingdom.
  • In Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Thus, an adequate system of schools is beneficial to complete a spiritual program of the church, and that the cause of education among New Testament churches is coordinate with the causes of evangelism, missions, and general benevolence, and should receive along with these the liberal support of God’s people.
  • Every Christian is under obligation to seek to make the will of Christ relevant to his own life and to that of human society.

Our Philosophy

We believe the foundation for accomplishing our purpose must be and is CHRIST. I Corinthians 3:11 states: “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ.” Psalm 11:3 warns, “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The Apostle Paul summarized it this way in Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

  • We believe that each student is a distinct, individual creation of an omnipotent God; and is the property of God, not civil government.
  • We believe that each individual student is directly responsible to God for his life.
  • We believe that an individual who allows the Lord to govern his life will demonstrate proper Christian character. We believe that we need to establish models of Christian character for students to emulate.
  • We believe that the parents have been given by God the responsibility of educating their children, and that Beth Eden Baptist School acts as an extension of Beth Eden Baptist Church to assist parents in their God-given responsibility.
  • We believe in utilizing Biblical methods of correction for training and that strong discipline is to be maintained.
  • We believe that the inner core of our curriculum is Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that our country was founded upon Christian principles and that our students must be taught Christian principles in order to influence America for Christ.
  • We believe that the local church is God's organization for this age. Thus, it will be promoted through this school.
  • We believe in pledging allegiance to the Bible, the Christian flag and the American flag.
  • We believe that every student attending Beth Eden Baptist School deserves to be educated to their fullest potential in an atmosphere which is challenging, exciting, caring and uplifting.
  • We believe that everyone deserves respect and dignity.
  • We believe that Beth Eden Baptist School should provide opportunities for students to develop and practice positive leadership, Christian service and Christian example.
